Guestnet strives to ensure that the website https://www.guest.net is accessible. The legal basis is the Legislative Decree of May 27, 2022, No. 82 (Accessibility Decree) in connection with EU Directive 2019/882.

 

Compliance Status

This website is currently largely compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.2, Conformance Level AA.

 

Non-accessible Content

  • Not all elements are always recognized by screen readers using both mouse hover and keyboard navigation—but they are always accessible through at least one of these methods. All interactive elements are reachable via keyboard; however, some texts can only be accessed using a mouse.
  • The desired contrast ratio for purely decorative elements is not always met. This is because these elements do not contain any informational content.
  • Not all texts are read aloud fluently in one piece by a screen reader. However, each section is selectable individually and recognized accordingly.
  • Elements from third-party providers are partially not recognized and read aloud by screen readers.
  • Not all links are read in a simplified form—often, they are read out in full, including characters.

 

Aspects Already Optimized for Accessibility

  • Alternative text has been added to all images, including logos. The only exception is logos where the name is already included as text (e.g., here: https://www.guest.net/en/integrations).
  • All sections have their own ARIA labels.
  • All interactive elements are operable using the keyboard only.
  • Automatic timers have been shortened and are paused when actively selected.
  • A hierarchical structure for heading tags (H-tags) is implemented.
  • Color contrasts have been reviewed across the entire site and improved where necessary. Elements without informational content were excluded (see section above).
  • Forms include additional validations and hint text in case of incorrect input.
  • All elements remain accessible even when the page is zoomed in.
  • All links contain their destination, which is recognized and read by screen readers.
